Been lock out of my truck a couple of times and was wondering if the actuator was bad. I dont have a remote and was gonna order 1 for $315 from dealer. Now would the remote work if the actuator is failing or is it unlocking the system on a different frequency? Trying to go the cheaper route...- lowwill

Have any one used this to change out fluids? Brake and p/steering? If so do you have to bleed the brakes or just change out as much as you can and fill back to the line? -
Front Shocks?

Idle Air Control Valve?
Is it possible for this thing to make a whiseling(air) sound when it is dirty or failing. 98 Disco LE (99,100 miles). Can some one post a pic so I can try to clean it. Thanks -
whistling air intake?

Choices?
Wow I am so glad I didnt get a freelander. It was a choice between a 03 lander or a 98 disco. Disco's cool some issues(is a rover) but not as bad as you guys. Good luck- lowwill
