Here is potentially some helpful information here. I had problems with my Diffs and found that LR does not supply bearings or ring & pinion, only reman units, etc. Although my dealer claimed to give me a repair quote, the fact was they were quoting my a replacement unit, exchange. Anyway after a ton of research I found a company who actually supplies a total kit, at least for the rear.
The best place (only place) I know of that can answer your questions is an outfit I found in S.A. I have been in touch with them, and have a stock ratio rebuilt kit enroute. I understand
