I've never thought these were exceptionally smooth with either my old motor or my new remanufactured. Then again the last v6 I had was a 4.0 SOHC. Watching the rpm in the corner of the GAP tool the idle rpm hunts between 61x and 63x mostly. Once the rpm is 650 or better it is very smooth. I just assumed that there's some harmonic around 620ish and it's a v6 so it is what it is.

Of note the remanufactured motor is sitting on new motor mounts and the transmission mount is new.

I have the same issues with vibration when idle.
but for me it's intermittent. it fluctuates from almost no vibration to very noticeable.
I noticed that long high-speed drives increase the vibrations at idle afterward.
also, it vibrates more when idle in D. Could it be transmission related?

I replaced the motor mounts some time ago. One was completely shot (the driver's side).
However, the vibrations did not improve.

i was thinking about replacing the transmission mount but it looks decent. no cracks etc.

mine is 2012 lr4 woth 136k miles on the clock

I thought I was going mad when I noticed this vibration too, as I had not found anything online, I had assumed a one off. I have a 2016 with 70k (but the vibration was there at 55k) . I had a warranty so I asked the local dealer to look at it and check engine mounts. They did, and they were replaced under warranty. But, vibration is still there. As with others I can feel it at idle, primarily through the steering wheel. It is not a disaster, but I know it was not like that when new. The vibration is constant, and only stops when the engine revs increase. I will keep thinking of causes and follow this thread. (I will check gearbox mounts)

it almost sounds like it is a normal operation for this platform
