I agree. I swapped my II's for I's a while back and liked 'em better for trails like Nightmare Gulch, Calico, and so forth. Our rocky terrain benefits from the additional clearance.Not to change your mind in any way since both options are great, but in my experience so far with the RS sliders here in southern Cal, those with the stage II seem to get hung up more on rocks and wedged in between rocks then us with the stage I.
The stage II are great when in close with tree's though.
With the 4x4 you just stick it under the frame and lower the car onto it right?
May I ask why you never did the rods?
