With the 4x4 you just stick it under the frame and lower the car onto it right?

May I ask why you never did the rods?

Not to change your mind in any way since both options are great, but in my experience so far with the RS sliders here in southern Cal, those with the stage II seem to get hung up more on rocks and wedged in between rocks then us with the stage I.

The stage II are great when in close with tree's though.
I agree. I swapped my II's for I's a while back and liked 'em better for trails like Nightmare Gulch, Calico, and so forth. Our rocky terrain benefits from the additional clearance.

Stage II's got stuck here all the time:

But its' no problem in Stage 1's

Stage 1's would have been fine here too:

Yes on the 4x4, but I find I like the jack better since it is adjustable for terrain. Then after extended mode is on you hold the break and hold the suspension lever up for 5 seconds to get super extended mode.

I just havn't needed the rods. So far I have done the toughest trails in So Cal and by just using extended mode when needed. That is as high as you are really going to get.

With the rods you can't really use extended or super extened mode without the chance of a suspension fault so your modified offroad height is what extended mode would be. So far I have only needed it in a few areas of the harder trails.

I dont have oversized tires so I am not having clearance issues and I do not plan to mess with the center of gravity by having oversized tires and running the mod all the time.
