Nice!
Almost got the Taco TRD Pro. Didn't honestly compare to the landy?
I just did some of my first serious off-roading last weekend trying to keep up with my buddy in his RZR 1000 turbo.
I am continually surprised by the LR4. Went over some 6 foot mounds of snow and forged many rivers and tons of deep water/mud and rocks. Got stuck to the frame in mud for the first time trying to go around a long bit of road covered in deep snow. It got bad enough that my buddy turned around for fear of getting stuck and having no winch. He came back and gave me a pull with my ARB recovery strap and got me right out.
I was impressed by both vehicles. The RZR is a beast obviously, but was surprised how easily it pulled out the 3 ton Rover. There were several obstacles where my buddy thought we would have turn around cause the landy wouldn't make it, but it powered over or through.
I just have nothing to compare it to. I was booking at 40+ mph on some of the trail without tons of big rocks and it was smooth. Just seemed to float. I can't imagine anything else with stock suspension handling the high speed along with the low speed technical stuff so well. Maybe a Raptor...
The LR4 just felt effortless and very comfortable. Maybe I am just trying to rationalize my purchase...

Access mode with IIDTool height adjustment... (Took zero pics on the actual trail... just bought a go pro to try and rectify that.)
Great pic!View attachment 7264 always fun to be the most capable in the group
Keep us posted! I would go with the aluminum skid plate - non-powder coated.
I am curious to see what Gary says, as I am really impressed with their quality. That sucker is rock solid strong!!!
Great pic! I've been looking for an antenna mount for the exact location you have your mounted. Do you mind telling me what type of mount that is? I'd appreciate it.NW Overland Rally 2017 was a huge success! Epic view courtesy of Sugarloaf trail.![]()
Actually just sold this 2 months ago, never got around to posting pictures, I had a lot of fun with this thing and took it a lot of places. I Put it back to stock before I sold it so I have the rims available, unfortunately I never posted much so I can't post in the classifieds.
