Wireless remote? So you just need to run power to the lights?
Wow - this is SO helpful. As I am looking around for lights, it is just what I needed.Yes, you can keep all of the wiring in the engine bay.
Buy something like this:

Then buy this or equivalent based on your lights:

And you can wire it to do this:
And all the wiring (harness) stays in the battery box.

A tutorial would be perfect. I actually already ordered the wireless remote you recommended and need to get the wiring. I am still figuring out which lights I want for the roof (likely the RIGID LED rectangular small ones), but still a bit unsure how to do the installation. Thanks, I'll try to find a few minutes to do a tutorial on the pinouts (wiring harness) for anyone.
Thanks as well, I was going to take truck pics but the lighting today is wonky with the heat. BUT everything is up and running as you can tell. Just put the winch rope on. temp mounted the hawse fairlead while I wait for some spacers to be sent to me. Otherwise, on to installing the cowon aw1 !
