Yes, you can keep all of the wiring in the engine bay.

Buy something like this:

And you can wire it to do this:

Thanks as well, I was going to take truck pics but the lighting today is wonky with the heat. BUT everything is up and running as you can tell. Just put the winch rope on. temp mounted the hawse fairlead while I wait for some spacers to be sent to me. Otherwise, on to installing the cowon aw1 !

A tutorial would be perfect. I actually already ordered the wireless remote you recommended and need to get the wiring. I am still figuring out which lights I want for the roof (likely the RIGID LED rectangular small ones), but still a bit unsure how to do the installation.

I know what you mean about the lighting, as I can never seem to take a good photo of my truck without some form of glare or bad lighting. Or, maybe it's the fact I only have my iPhone camera. ;-)

I am still figuring out which lights I want for the roof (likely the RIGID LED rectangular small ones), but still a bit unsure how to do the installation.

What wattage lights were you thinking? Seems like the biggest issue you'll have is where to exit the wiring harness for the light at the roof. I recall LR3 folks doing so somewhere along the roof rail track, or you could use the A-pillar trim on the outside and just have the wire there at the top exiting from the trim. Use a weather pack connector or similar.
