Rest 2007 limp mode

hi everyone, I’m new, I have a rest 2007 3.6v8 and it keeps going in to limp mode when hard acceleration, loss of power and change in exhaust nots. Had 2 new egr valves, still happening, turn off and on all ok, the mechanic who changed the valves says he can’t find the problem. Have taken it to a different mechanic and he says it’s a worn turbo, slight whistle and that both turbos need changing, which means body off. Waiting for quote but anyone have any thoughts? Could it be anything else? Thanks in advance!

First, welcome to the forum. Second, Without seeing any Error codes or having any other info it is very hard to diagnose, mileage, error codes, any other maintenance performed, why were the valves changed?
