Hello tmgeneral,So far my wife loves it. I do as well. The biggest obstacle for her was going from a larger Tahoe to a smaller vehicle. Now that she's had a week of hauling kids around shes comfortable with it. We are not off-roaders, but the real test for the LR4 will be our first full winter next year. The area we live in averages 120 inches of snow per year. This year we got 150 inches. We live in an open area that gets very windy during the winter. There are days where we get a foot of snow overnight with 2-3 foot drifts on our street. Thats where the LR4 will be put to the test.
You have a beautiful LR4! Your interior is the same as mine, but I have the Nara Bronze. I live in the SF Bay area, so I won't get to experience my LR4 in the snow unless I go to Tahoe or the mountains. I moved here from the Boston, MA area, so I am used to a lot of snow. There is a chance I may move back in a couple years, so I am actually hoping to get to use it in the snow. From what I hear, it is AWESOME in the snow... I am sure you and your wife will have no problem at all!
Keep us posted and congratulations! Good luck keeping that color clean!
