Well I was going to go further, but I got a suspension fault. So....I was concerned about that. Have a 50k Rover that can't go off road with out a light coming on, should've got a Jeep XK (and now considering it).

But....here we go:

LOL, you need to read your manual. That's not a suspension fault, that's your roll-over warning light that activates the SRS system (one of the stability control systems you have).

My manual says that's a suspension fault?

It came on twice, the other day I was just driving about 40 MPH, no turning, and it came on.

Plus the cruise control works half the time, and the fogs don't work either.

Keeping track of all the issues on it is a full time job.
EDIT: Here it is, what I am referencing to.

How old is your battery? At that mileage and those random electrical symptoms, it appears to be a classic case of low or unregulated voltage, which is something the LR3 is VERY sensitive too. If newer battery, perhaps the alternator?

It was just at the dealer, and they inspected it. Said it was fine. It's 3 years old, so soon.

cmg - you're a j-rod guy, right? If so, did you get your sensors recalibrated? I found that running the rod set at too short a length will wreak havoc with the system. That's exactly why I found 2-1/2" lift to be too much. I didn't stumble on my settings by accident nor did I set out to claim the "biggest" lift available. You have to operate within tolerable parameters. Heck, I could build you a set for a 4" lift but you would never be able to leave the driveway. If you're not a j-rod guy - please disregard this post.

Nope...stock rods (maybe that's the issue). Thanks for the ideas though.

CMG, I think your LR3 is spitting at you for insulting it...by calling that gravel road "off road."

I never know whether to take your posts seriously...you pulled 2 feet off someone's driveway?

Could be time for a new compressor. Whatever triggered the fault has stored a code and your dealer can read it.

About going "offroad", might be too little to late for this band of misfits :)
