Sure ....

1) Remove rubber tray under ash-tray/cigarrette lighter.
2) Remove single screw under EBP (parking brake) switch.
3) Remove top of gear shift (pull straight up)
4) Pull console straight up - there are a half dozen or so clips holding it in place.

Have fun!

Uh, pull gearshift leveler straight up . ..

Tried to figure that out this afternoon, didn't seem to want to budge. Any trick to it (ie: locknuts, set screws, etc)

Just pull realllll hard straight up. Takes some force. Be careful putting it back on though, because if it goes in sideways it will wiggle or twist.

-Take the screw out where the parking brake is.
-Then take off the little rubber tray to the right of the shifter, under that is another plastic tray thing, make sure that comes out too. Once you get that out, take that screw out.
-Pull the shifter straight up, that just pops off.

-Once you've done all this, try keep the box to the console open, and start opening it from there. So open if from the back first.
-The plastic that wraps up to the center console pops off first. Just pull on it. It will sound like breaking, but it's just the snaps holding them together.
-Then you'll have to unplug the wires to the HDC, Height Buttons, Terrain control etc.

Once you've done all that... that's it. To put it back together, just follow all the directions in reverse.

I think that might be what you were asking... not sure though.

Is it the actual switch that feels loose, or the entire console near the switch? If it's the switch, I'm not sure - I've never taken it off of the console. If it's the rear of the console, you probably broke or missed/dropped a clip when you put it back on - they're probably cheap and easily available from your local LR dealership.
