Trying to figure out what's going on with my 2014 LR4, while under moderate acceleration the vehicle has a shutter around 1500-2500 RPM. It's most noticeable when going uphill or accelerating around 30-40 mph, getting onto the interstate, & accelerating at interstate speeds. The issues only appear to be present under moderate acceleration. Under light acceleration the issue is not present, and it seems to not do it under heavier acceleration. I'm having trouble determining if this is an issue with the engine bogging down, or something in the transmission/rest of the drivetrain.

So far I have replaced the PCV valve and added shutter fix to the transmission but saw no change. The only codes I currently have are P0430 (Bank 2 Catalyst System efficiency below threshold) and P0483 (Fan Performance. Signal Frequency Too Low).

I have also checked the motor mounts and don't see any movement from the engine when revved.

It is pretty much an all the time issue. I can generally drive in a way that won't cause it to do but sometimes you can't avoid it. I hadn't seen the two links you posted but they don't really seem to describe the issue. I've seen a few posts that sounded like what I described but they range from a failed motor mount, to a torque converter. I've had an L322 with a torque converter that slipped and this is definitely different.

The conditions you describe pretty much exactly align with what I’m experiencing in my 5.0 V8 ( My post got linked to above). I’ve not yet discovered the cause but I’ve been systematically checking things and servicing what I find.

I’ve not yet had the torque converter or transmission fully inspected yet but it’s possibly the source.

Yes, I’ve been reading your thread. I had an L322 that had a worn torque converter and it felt completely different and the tachometer would fluctuate. This makes me feel like it’s a different issue but that is the 6 speed vs 8 speed transmission so I could be wrong.

Its hard to understand what a shutter means, but it could be the fuel pump going out if its engine related. It would be best to hire a mechanic to diagnose it for you. $175 - $200 would be worth your time.
