Two questions if anyone has advice!
1-What is a realistic engine oil change interval for the 200Tdi if useing semisynthic oil,or is it better to use standard oil?
2-How do you get Seafoam into the diesel engine?
Any help appreciated here in Ireland.

Oil change on good quality oil around 3 - 5 thousand miles... full synthetic... 10 - 15 thousand miles...

Seafoam in a diesel just add to oil prior to oil change.... you don't need if for much else unless you want to add to the fuel... but I would use Lucas top end lube for a diesel....

Thanks for that Joey
How do you get the Seafoam directly into the engines intake system to clear the injectors and valves.
Best regards
Paul

Add to the fuel tank... Unless I am mistaking a diesel doesn't have valves.... I have been known to be wrong before though.

Hi again Joey
A diesel engine is identical in most respects to a petrol.
Only the ignition system is different.
I suppose you could put the Seafoam into the glow plug holes(after removing them of course) This should get the stuff into the engine.
Has anyone tried this?

If you want to add to the intake, just remove the air filter. Start the engine and slowly pour into the intake... this will get it into the engine.
