Onemind32 When you changed the head gaskets did you resurface the heads. Must also use new head bolts @ around $ 100 a set.They are one time use stretch bolts. And must be drawn down in order and torqued. If not your problem is still there, Sorry -

Stuck in Park
Hi Also had same problem. You can jump two of the wires with paper clip or short piece of wire. Got my switch at Auto Zone. The switch is WW1 type points and springs. -

As always: Thank You joey Had a senior day, And you woke me. The ease of dis-assembly is unreal. Very impressed with the 4 piston caliper on the D1. The inner and outer pads on the left were within .015. And the right within .015 of the left side Max..I personally have and would not change... -

Hi If the head bolts were not replaced the last time that would be your problem. they are stretch bolts and must be replaced each time at approximately $ 100.00 a set. Also reface the heads they warp. Just went through this two months ago in a D1. I had up to .010 warp. You will have some... -

Most systems have a regular valve to adjust the flow to the heater core to control the temp. Most are cable controlled and some come off or snap. -

Hi Scott, Hope this is not to late, You need to replace the head bolts also. they are stretch bolts and around $100. a set. And true up the face of the heads. If not you could be redoing soon. Just went through this myself. Looking at the date on your post we did it together. Dennis -

Could not locate brake lite switch on stock local. Next day best price Auto Zone 24.95. To get use of the Rover untill part arives, remove plug from switch . It is a four pin switch, make a jumper wire and plug into the two on the flat side of the plug. ( left side installed ) Turn the key on... -

OEM brakes
I use Lubro Moly LM 508 anti- seize compound on the back bearing surface of the pads. Also on the caliper rails. LM 508 is high temp. and copper color. It has a brake pad image on the tube. Easy find at Import parts store . ( German / Euro )... -
