I circled that plate thing that covers the front recovery point, but with the hole for it....what's it called/ who makes it? Anyone have any more pics of it?

Looks like the Mantec front skid.

Its a shackle (aka D-ring) for recovery. He cut a hole in his skid plate and attached a shackle to the tow loop. Maybe the hole was already there I dont know.

Its actually the GNVP sump guard (Over in the UK), its the Cheaper alternative with the same materials. I asked him about it the thread where he posted those pics.

Yup, I'm thinking about doing the same thing, debating whether or not to black or just keep it silver... I think its 15 pounds for the powder coating from the manufacturer

i have a silver GNVP sump and ladder sitting next to a set of option 2 RS sliders in the garage just waiting for me to install them this weekend. i'll take some pics afterwards. i was debating getting the black sump, but decided to go with the silver as i can always powdercoat it black later, but its a bit harder going back to silver. gary and neil from GNVP were awesome to order from! two really nice guys. i ended up ordering the sliders from Lucky 8 as i met their head guy, justin, at SCARR in TX last month. he was really helpful as well, and i got a good price. now i am just ready to get the stuff on and get the truck back on the trail with a bit less fear of breaking something.
