I brought mine in to a shop a while back when I had tire issues due to the backend being out of allignment. They looked it up in a computer and got the warning you mentioned. Basically saying OEM equipment was required. I don't mind a non LR shop doing it. But I do mind someone having to "figure it out" on my truck!
Be curious to know if LR3 alligning is now well defined in all the non-dealer allignment computers that they use to look up the service specs.
