... F**king suck! My windshield after we got caught under an especially nasty one on the way to Vegas last Friday morning.

My wife and I watched in horror as the little nick on the edge of the glass quickly turned into a 12" crack within a few seconds of impact as we were doing 80+ on the I-15. Fortunately, it stopped spreading there.

On top of that, I lost like a pig at the blackjack tables all weekend long. :help: Oh well, at least Celine Dion put on a pretty good show, lol. Comprehensive will cover it, minus my deductible.

That sucks, however you are probably lucky you were moving, otherwise the hood and top glass may have been ruined...

Are they replacing with OEM glass or some other version? Just curious. I have several rock nicks that will turn into a crack once winter arrives.

OEM only. I wouldn't want an aftermarket unit anyway, and I don't know if one is even available with these specs. The insurance co told me it will take anywhere between 2 and 5 days to get a replacement, specifically because it is such a unique piece of glass.

I wonder if non-OEM would even be available. Doesn't seem like the LR4 volume would be high enough to justify a non-OEM manufacturer entering the market.
