Question about vibration of new engine?

Last year on June the engine of my 2012 LR4 was replaced under warranty but since I got my car back 3 weeks later I felt a little more vibration coming from the engine or transmission, it is definitely little louder that I can feel it on the stick shift and sometimes even on the front body of the car like dashboard or front doors. This is happening when the car stops on drive like on red light per sample, once the car gets warmer the vibration goes little softer but it is higher than it was before with the old engine.
Last month I brought the car back to the dealer for an oil change and to check this vibration because it is bothering me. It wasn't like that before they installed the new engine but people at the dealer told me after they checked that everything is Ok with my car, diagnostics are Ok and they said that commonly these trucks LR4 and Range Rovers make this vibration and that it is normal.
I'm not an expert on cars but I think vibration comes stronger when the time chain/belt needs to be replaced and I know that usually old cars have this vibration because engines becomes distorted when old.

Can you guys let me know your experience or comments on this matter.

My experience is that anytime you take something complex apart and put it back together, it is never quite the same as from the factory. I am sensitive to the way my vehicles drive and it drives me nuts all the time, but in the end, it becomes the "new normal". Assuming the vibration is not dangerous or overly intrusive, but subtle, I would bet you will never get it back to the "original normal".

Probably you are right about it but I'm worry that the vibration issue will become a bigger problem later. I'm thinking maybe asking a second opinion on a different dealer.

I would get a second opinion from a local shop that works on Land Rovers. That's assuming you have a good one in your area.

It looks like I am experiencing the same vibration problem.

2013 lr4 with about 44,000 miles.

It just started when I picked up my car from a service few days ago. Had engine oil service and lower control arm bushings replaced.

Dealer's tech. can feel it but he blames my skid plate, claims all those LR4 have vibration. I do not buy it.
They had to remove my asfir skid plate and put it back, for bushing replacement.

I had my skid plates for years and never had this problem. The Vibration is not coming from a skid plate. It is coming from either an engine or a transmission and my transfer case skid plate transmits it so it is more noticeable because of It.
It was not there before.
The only skid plates which has this vibration is a transfer case skid plate.
When I place my hand on engine cover I can feel exactly the same vibration. It changes when you shift into D or R when the car is stationary.
Like in your case the engine sound is louder and harsher then before when you drive.
It is exactly how you described it.

My factory warranty expires in few days so I am nervous.

I left my truck with the dealer yesterday and they will take the skid plates out and see if the vibration is still there. I know how "excited" they are to do this. I just hope they will do this at all.
I have to say that for the last 6 years I have been happy with my dealer service department

My next step, if the problem is not resolved, is to drop the car to an independent LR shop, but by that time I will be out of warranty. At least I will have a prove that my car was at the dealer for this issue and I was complaining about the problem.

I don't understand how they can even think a skid plate is involved. A skid plate can vibrate and make noise maybe, but it is obviously isn't causing a vibration being attached to frame/subframe parts...

Is it an abnormal amount of engine vibration? bad idle? MAF/intake messed up?
