After replacing the battery in my 2018 Discovery, the dash remains dark, and it won't start. The interior lights, remote fob, door locks, etc., work fine.

The vehicle did have a parasitic draw that I tracked down to the "Telematics" fuse in the passenger compartment panel. That fuse is now reinstalled.

I would appreciate any suggestions to help resolve this situation.

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.
Check the battery ground cable at the body ground.
Telematics module could be causing your issues.

Thanks. I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes and checked the ground to the body next to the battery (all good).

Can you hold the key fob under the steering column and cycle the key on?

A little late to this, but what type battery did you put in? The newer Rovers complain about AGM batteries.
