So, long story short. My car wouldn't start one morning. It turned over and over and finally started and then immediately stalled. I don't recall all the codes but my RepairSol2 lit up like a Christmas tree. There were some other codes regarding the electrical system / battery so I purchased a brand new batter. This is when buyers regret resurfaced again. This car only has 96K on it!

Yesterday, I dropped the tank and replaced both the fuel filter and pump with LR parts. I then tried to start the car and it would just turn over and over but not start. The dash screen would show "fuel level low". However, the tank is at least 1/3 full.

I went back and checked all the fuses on the engine compartment fusebox (see attached pic - dead ones are slightly pulled out) and 13 of 26 do not work! *** - how is this possible? None of them look to be blown upon close inspection. On my OBD code reader the primary code I get is P062A.

So, my next step is to replace 1) all the fuses, 2) the fuse pump relay, and 3) the low pressure fuel sensor. Any idea what else I can do? I am about to lose my mind.

Thanks, Bill

When you say the fuses “don’t work” but don’t look blown - it’s not clear what you mean. Do you mean no voltage across the test pins with the ignition on? If ignition is off, some of the fuses are likely tied to relays that are off. I’d recheck voltage with ignition on. Then pull and check the no voltage fuses for continuity to see if blown.

If the fuses are good, but no voltage on a bunch of circuits that should be powered up, I’d be thinking maybe rodent damage under that fuse box or maybe the sunroof leak issue. If there are a lot of blown fuses, there must be a short circuit someplace.

Assuming the fuse box otherwise looks okay, the fuel pump relay would be high on my list of things to check - as you noted.

The dash showing low fuel could be a problem with the fuel sending unit which I believe is part of the fuel pump assembly - I’d ignore that for the present time until you can get the fuel pump back online and the car started.

Thank you for the information!!! I didn't realize some of the fuses are tied to relays. I have no experience with electrical issues. Anyway, I'll take a closer look today for fuse damage or sunroof leak issues (have to look up that one). Again, thanks for the feedback!
