Take some pics of the new ride man! with the lights on. I am curious to see what they look like with the signature lighting.

You and me both! Definitely will take some pics tonight. Will post additional pics this weekend after I get it washed, clay barred, and waxed.

Sorry I havent posted any pics myself. I cant wait for LRnewbie to post some pics. Things have been nuts for me- so busy!

I'm going to post some pics this evening at dusk PST as that's the best time to see the lights.

Stay tuned!

LRnewbie11,

Is clay barring hard? I've never done this to a vehicle.

New lights are installed. Pics to follow. Kind of hard to tell the diff on the lows but that was in lighted garage. But the fogs are exponentially brighter! Can't wait to take it for a spin tonight when it's dark.

Yes. You take the clay (which is kind of like play doh consistency or modeling clay etc) and press it out into a flat piece about the size of your palm. Then you take some detail spray to use for a lubricant of sorts for the clay. Then you just rub the clay over an area of the car like you were applying wax. At first it will almost want to bite or drag heavily but the spray will get it moving and once it starts picking up all of those surface particulates it will be smooth. Then wipe off with a microfiber cloth. After the whole car has had the clay you need to then give it a coat of wax to seal it. It's fairly labor intensive but you realty only have to clay it once a year. There are some good YouTube videos of this process.

Awesome! Glad it went well and you had no problems. I think you will notice a big difference at night! I'm taking pics of mine tonight... Look forward to your pics as well.

I tried the clay bar in the past and although the results are absolutely amazing, my hands and wrists were destroyed for weeks thereafter. I have not used the clay bar since. :argh:
