Normally I'd say no, you don't have to change at 12 months. But 4.5k including 1k towing... either change it now, or change it soon at a convenient interval (i.e., 5k). Synthetic only, I would use semi-syn unless it was an emergency.
The OCI topic has been beaten to death on this forum, but either you missed the discussions, or don't believe the consensus that 15k is an unfunny joke. Maybe with ultra-light service only, you can get away with 15k. Any towing or city driving is considered "severe service" and the recommendation is cut in half, to 7.5k. I'd have sworn that in other parts of the world, the OCI for LR4 was 7.5k for normal service and 3.75k for severe service, but I can't locate the documentation. As I always say, oil is cheaper than engines. YMMV, etc.
About the time limit, I've never found any evidence showing why oil magically requires replacement at 12 months. On one of my cars which doesn't see a lot of miles, I pushed the OCI to 30 months and the oil analysis came back with normal results, same as it did when driven more miles and changed at ±12 months.
