when I'm driving my Rover and turn on the P or headlights the cluster gos dead. No odm. no turn signals. the brights light is half way lite. but the out side lights are on.My headlight switch was acting funny to get the headlights and P on @ the same time, so I took it apart and cleaned the contacts on it. It fixed that but the other problem is still there.
Any help out there?

I would replace the headlight switch... I cleaned mine and it worked for about 2 weeks... replaced it and all is well.

When you say other problems are still there, are you referring to "the cluster gos dead. No odm. no turn signals. the brights light is half way lite"? Does this happen every time you turn on the headlights?

yes, all of it.every time i turn the head lights on it is doing it. I just tryed it again and the same thing. it did it before a little but its getting longer and longer. if the motor is on and lights off its fine ,the instant I turn the switch tack FALLS odm FALLS temp gos to the top and fuel too. when off the temp sometimes jumps up&down with the turnsignal.

It may also be the connector going to the light switch.... they do sometimes have issues.

Now that is real odd... I would say that it is a wiring issue... but not sure where to start on this issue.
