I just joined up because I might be recieving the 'family' LR. It was my grandfather's and when he died a few years ago it became my mother's. My mother is moving and won't have the space or desire to try and keep it in Miami so she is considering sending it back out to AZ (where it's lived most of it's life) to be with me.
Other then the then the fact that it would push one of my cars out of the garage if it came out here
I'm delighted. The wife and I have thought it would be a task to try and slowly restore the LR because it's cosemtics are not up to par. I have started to look around and gather information about the LR to prepare for when it arrives.
I guess I should start with a simple question. How do I know what series the LR is? It's a 1965.
