Had actuator replaced as garage said thats what was causing problem now its happening again alarm going off constantly saying tailgate open and its not. Even comes on when driving

I’m having the exact same problem with my wife’s 2015 disco sport. Also changed the actuator as I was told this would fix it but it hasn’t. Does anyone know a fix for this. Interior lights come on randomly, dashboard randomly says boot is not closed and can’t lock it as the alarm goes off as it thinks the tailgate has been opened. It’s doing my head in.

Probably just an adjustment to the rear hatch latch.

I am having the exact issue! One day my alarm randomly went off. Then the tailgate open message appeared. Keeps happening. And now, every time the tailgate open message comes on, my interior lights automatically come on. And it won’t lock because it thinks a tailgate is open. And then sometimes it’s perfectly fine. And now my locks keep trying to automatically lock on me. Help!!
