Disco I VS Disco II

hey guys

new to the forum here. I have a 96 Disco I and I want to do ao Disco II conversion. i see that the headlamps are different. bumpers and wheels as well. anything else I should be looking into?

my disco I is completely stock, expect for an H4 8000K HID conversion. looks great

The disco 2 is a few inches longer, more leg room, bigger engines depending on the years, and lacks the CDL (center differential lockers) on some years.

You forgot the important Goodies.
Besides longer and more room, it rides better.
99 D2 was the first year of "NO LUCAS" it is no Bosh and much happier.
More bells and whistles if you are into thqat sort of stuff.
ACE and SLS along with ETC made a huge change between the 2 trucks.
CDL is still there you just have to reconnect it.
In other words there is a huge difference between a D1 and a D2.

i am looking into getting the disco II headlamps for my disco I

any leads on where to get them? looked on e bay, not much there. are there any online shops that sell oem stuff?
