I just fixed this issue, so I thought I'd post it.
Could not open my tail door from the outside nor the inside. I used the WD40 fix from the outside to get the exterior handle unstuck, and that worked fine. But I could not open the door from the interior still.
Took the interior trim off and and noticed the handle pull rod was loose and wasn't pulling the latch down enough. Turns out the FRF000010(RNN853) Clip Door Latch has a plastic piece on the int. door handle that broke off. Bought the piece for $2.40 and will install when arrives.
