yeah all right well I have a roof rack and a brush guard and want to install those cables that go from one to another... I hope i explained that well enough (the cables that run from the rack to guard in order to push brush away on the trails) .... I was wondering if anyone had those on their disco and could tell me how to put them on and where to get the cables and stuff like that, thanks. 97 disco I

I thought they were just home made. Maybe you can buy them somewhere but I have never seen them...

You could use the cable that people have for dog leashes!

Don't use them unless you're actually going to wheel in forest trails.

Imagine hitting a pedestrian and trying to explain to the nice police officers that the reason the old lady crossing the street lost her head was so you could have the safari look.

That said, if you want them, use a dog cable (metal cable with vinyl coating), mount hooks to each bumper end, and use a turnbuckle located at the roof rack level to tighten things. I think DiscoWeb has a tech article on them. Most people call 'em "limb risers."
