I purchased my '05 LR3 in August of '11 w/ 76,000 miles. It has no warranty. I currently have 92,6xx miles on it. Since the time of owner ship I have replaced the following:

- Relay Switch replaced three days after purchasing(dealer paid for it). A/C went out.
- Thermostat(twice)
- Thermostat Housing
- Thermostat Hoses
- Left Rear 02 Sensor

The dealership put brand new brake pads/rotors on before purchasing, along with poly bushings in both rear and front. Also, the front control arms were replaced by dealer. All the dealer replaces were done at no charge as an agreement to me purchasing the LR3.

Currently, the EPB needs be to adjusting. I'm experiencing a very loud grinding noise when I attempt to use my parking brake.

My best advice to you is that if you plan on buying a Landy, expect major repairs. I would not recommend taking your truck to ANY Land Rover dealership for service if its not under warranty as you'll most likely be rammed in the a** by the service shop. I do my own oil changes every 5k miles. I'm due for new plugs and a differential fluid change anytime now.
