Hey all,

I have a question involving my subwoofer. I have a 2000 Range Rover 4.0, equipped with Harmon Kardon subwoofers. My mother decided to take it out for a ride, and brought it back with the subs making a loud buzzing noise (i assumed they were blown). I bought a new set of subs off of ebay and installed them in my rover, but they did not work when i turned the radio on. The radio and the other speakers in the car work perfectly. Did i get a bad set of subs or is there a different problem??

Thanks for your help!

Check the fuse first, but you may want to check the subs out of the vehicle to make sure they are not bad as well.

Not a big Audio fan (at least not in my Rover), so I can't help much with how to test other than check the fuse.

Subs...

I checked the fuse and it appears to be fine. Is there any way to test your subs to see if they work?

Thanks!

Wish I could help, but other than checking voltage or plugging in another speaker, I can't help you. I don't normally mess with the radios in LR's, I can't even hear mine if going faster than 50 MPH.
