… my charging system sucks. Firestone just told me that my 6 month old battery is starting to die (again). This is my 4th time in 3 years, and the new oem alternator is less than 2 years old.

At least your batteries are under warranty. If you have to replace again out of pocket, try a Group 49/H8, preferably AGM.

Could you elaborate on why you say the battery is "starting to die again"? Is the engine cranking slow, etc? What are the symptoms?

I didn't notice anything with the battery. I was taking Firestone's battery diagnostic at face value, but I usually take whatever they say with a grain of salt. I haven't had any noticeable issues.
