I have the 2002 original front headlamps. One sits back further than the other. I can't tell which is correct? So the upper corner screw(closest to the center of the car) is position longer than the other in order to make it sit tighter. But I can't tell how they intended it to be done. See photos.
Thanks
S

To clarify, the three holders that snap onto the frame are all different lengths. One is short(outside), one at bottom is average extension screw, and the top one is extra long to push the lamp out to angle towards the front grill.

My one headlamp has two of the bottom ones that are average extension. Am I to shorten the long one or extend the average one?

I removed the one top screw from the photo on the right, but that's basically how tight it sits.

Figured it out watching a couple videos. The upper headlamp screw is longer so the lamps angles up towards the grill. Mine was sitting back bc it was a replacement. Just use a wrench to hold the one end, and twist the plastic piece around until it gets to 1.5 inches or so length.
