Going to admit that I was a little slow digesting why someone would need a bushing that can withstand a direct hit from a rifle round.

Ive seen the armored suspension bits too. Coming from Mercedes world, the armored bushings had different durometer ratings. Gave a stiffer ride on standard cars. Might be an option if one wanted to stiffen up suspension using factory parts. Rather than the problematic urethane bushes people tried.

The armored bushing are OEM spec non-liquid filled IIRC.

30K on my urethane bushings at this point and no issues to report. This is on a heavy, modded truck running 33.2 tires that sees dirt and rocks. Still happy with them so far.

Word of advice, just do a quick check on the front lca before a big outing and check for cracks at the rear bushing. So, you don't end up like mine. All it takes is 10 seconds to look.

I have given them a look several times, and thus far, no issues. As recently as last week, actually.

No squeaks, no cracks. Maybe I got lucky for once.

We'll take the little wins whenever it comes to these trucks. It's been a love/hate emotional roller-coaster.
