I have that jack and it works well in the garage. You're not taking that jack on the road with you though!

Put it in whatever mode you like; either way you need to jack her up till you can pull a wheel off. Not sure how the confusion ever got started about putting into different modes.![]()
Off-road height, not extended, though. It's just to keep you from having to crank the jack with a load on it as much, you can certainly do it from access height if you wanted.The jack instructions say to put it in that mode.
