Hey all, sorry for the silence, like Tapps33, I underwent a move and have had no time. Furthermore the Rover is now hours away at my parents residence. Now I'm settled, I'm trying to get my build back so I can drive a Rover rather than a minivan!
Despite swapping out even the transmission mechatronics from the donor car, there still is errors between transmission, transfer case, ABS and suspension. I cannot get the suspension to raise, and even clearing faults compressor will kick in for a few seconds before throwing an error but even doing that over and over only the rear will raise. As the biggest reason I couldnt drive it to see if the errors would go away is I have new 275/55r20s on it and on bump stops they rub. So, I've been playing with the idea of swapping to coil overs to *maybe* fix errors and make it drivable (RRS had adaptive suspension, and I feel the module swap is causing issues with that hardware not being there despite disabling it on the CCF). Here's where I'd like input/advice: what coil overs should I get for this build? Options are normal coils or ones with 2in lift built in (I run rods currently, amd both sizes have the option of a heavy duty version with stiffer springs for towing etc.
Normal:

Considerations are,
• No lift means new tires. They are brand new and got them right before the engine died, with living in an area of snow I like beefier tires.
• Worried a lift will increase rollover risk dramatically, I could add spacers as I've run 2in spacers before long term no issue on my LR3. I also love the stance and probably add some anyway regardless.
• Regardless of height, would the heavy duty kit be better? Stiffer springs for more predictable ride? It is a supercharged after all, plus I've added weight with the SC engine up front.
• Note, I dont off-road or will I in this particular build. It is performance and looks based. I greatly appreciate the capabilities of Rovers and would love to make an overland rig one day, this just isn't it so lets not get into one of those argument threads (I've seen it before)
Thanks all!
