transfer flush?

How often should the transfer case be flushed or fluid change. Would this help with the classic thunk noise? U-joints are fine.

Change the fluid every 25k.... flush at around 100k (but remember if you don't change the fluids often, don't flush the system.)

What's the difference between replacing the fluid and flushing the transfer case fluid? I've replaced mine, but didn't know it could be flushed.

My mistake... I was thinking transmission, not transfer case.... Long weekend.... I replied to this after working for 18 straight hours....
