Tire rotation per owners manual

Why rotate "to opposite end of same axle" (except omnidirectional tires)? Front to back evens out the wear profile so well and at 16k our fronts are much more beaten up from rocky roads.

No idea, I rotate front to back. Seems that when I have tried changing the rotation I get more vibration. Front to back rotation at each seasonal changeover works just fine.

Yea, I always rotate my tires (including the spare) the following way:

This is what I have been doing with my BFGs for last 34,000 miles every 5,000 miles. I will be getting new TA KO2 soon and thinking about rotating every 3000-3500 miles. ( five wheel rotation).
How often do you do your rotation?

We are in kms over here and I am a bit lazy, so I just rotate every 10k kms which is about 6200 miles.
