I purchased the Stainless Steel Rear Bumper Treadplate for my LR4 last fall. It looks great but in hindsight I may not have done it because of the rubber inserts used. I had envisioned that the black rubber squares that run the length of the unit were essentially a single piece of material that ran underneath the stainless making them impossible to loose.
Does anyone out there know if the rubber inserts are available (or can be purchased) separately from the entire bumper? My dealer says they are not available and that you have to purchase the entire treadplate assembly ($495 retail).
...Ideas anyone?
By the way, I love the LR4. I have just 4000 miles on it, but so far it's perfect.
