Snow flake symbol next to outdoor temp reading in display panel

What does this symbol mean?? Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. Could not find any mention of it in manual

It comes on when the temp is below 38degrees, to warn of possible icy conditions, I assume. My Trailblazer did that as well.

not sure if you guys noticed this, but anything below 40 the front and rear window heaters come on automatically.

The temp hasn't dropped to that here in So Calif, but I'll look for it. I do love the heated steering wheel ... nice and toasty hands on the drive to work! ;-)

Here in San Francisco it has been going down into the low 30s during the evening. I also love the heated steering wheel and seats... they work so well and this cold weather has been making the holiday feeling all the better.

I agree ... I know that its only So. Calif where I'm at and all the Newport Beach cougars break out their mink coats the moment the temp gets below 50! But the heated seats / wheel make the ride to/from work that much more enjoyable! Wish the seats were massage!!

20's here in chicago...i dont even wear gloves anymore...no need to with heated windshield and steering wheel
