You can really see the difference between it and the Stornoway Grey. Really pops off the page.
I agree. Stornoway Grey was my second choice of color back when I got my LR4 -- Izmir Blue was my first choice and that's what I got. From the pics, the Orkney Grey looks a little bit blue-ish. Is that accurate? In any case, I really love it. :)

UGAGirl,

OH MY GOSH! I literally laughed outloud when I read this! Hysterical!

Imagination Movers...ya gotta think about it....Imagination Movers.....you gotta sing about it... I think what this situation needs is some imagination!

One day we will hear one of those songs come on the radio while driving with our pre-teen daughters and they will forward the ipod to the next Britney Spears song and it will break our hearts....(at least that's what my mothers says...LOL)

Ok, I will stop now before the other members of this forum kick my butt... or really, before gfcronus makes one of his absurd comments about yet another subject he knows nothing about (yes...he has been on my case more than once).... hee hee

I had ordered Stornoway Grey from the samples at the dealer and through the 3 months that I had to wait for the truck the color was no longer available and they changed it for an Orkney Grey. I hesitated when I first heard the news but after seeing it in person I was sold on it.

Like nerve64 said, the color really pops out under the sun (see pictures above)

That grey is awesome! Looks sorta vintage fighter airplane color to me. Very cool.

Marcela is 2 years old and she is really enjoying the views from her seat. In our other cars she could barely see out the window. On the Discovery, with the high riding position, she can see everything and really seems to enjoy the rides.

Curious what the other cars were that your child couldn't see out of from a car seat? I have a 2-year old as well and I'm trying to imagine how I would be able to tell that she is enjoying one type of vehicle better than another. Doesn't seem plausible that she would emote that type of feeling at her young age.

I´m sorry for your 2-year old

Because her view out the passenger door is not as good as your 2-year old's?

This was a serious question. Since we both have 2-year olds, I am really interested in how you know your 2-year old is happier in the LR4 than the other cars you have. What method did you use to determine this? What are the other vehicles? Is she seriously able to tell the difference between the various vehicles and communicate her level of satisfaction/dissatisfaction for one versus the others to you? If so, this is impressive, from both a parent's and Land Rover's perspective. All of this is information that will help me make my next vehicle choice. If LR4s are capable of making such a positive impression on 2-year olds, then this will help me in my decision process. Thanks in advance.
