I had been waiting for a Stornoway Grey with Almond interior and I just got confirmation that next week they will deliver an Orkney Grey. It seems the color offering changed and Stornoway (among other colors) is no longer available...

I know my color, Nara Bronze, is no longer available either. It'll be great for you to get your LR4, as I know you have been waiting a long time! I just took a look at Orkney Grey and it actually looks a lot like the Nara Bronze in some ways? Is this a lot different than the Stornoway Grey????

I just checked the LR website and they have dropped many colors, including Nara Bronze, Rimini Red, Siberian Silver, and others. Also Zermatt Silver is now Indus Silver, and Santorini Black is now Sumatra Black. Weird that they didn't wait until 2012 to make these color changes.

My dealer told me the color changes were due in part to the crisis in Japan. They must manufacture much of the paint over there.

Hi guys. Just got my LR professionally detailed. The guy said he used a product by simoniz which has Teflon in it. supposedly it lasts 2 years according to him. He said I do not need to use product to wash the car. Just water and the dirt will slide off. I think it is BS. anyway, the truck looks great and is VERY shiny. One thing he kept mentioning to me is NOT to wash the car with dish soap. He said that three times. I never do, but the only reason I am mentioning this here is because I remember someone saying that they do that when they wash their car. He said it strips all the wax and finish off. He actually did that on my car before placing the new wax/sealant on there. took 8 hours and cost $200.

Looks great David. Too bad so many amazing colours were dropped because of the quake in Japan. Amazing how the quake is still affecting so much supply. Anyway, have a great weekend.

David! Your LR4 looks AWESOME!! I love the pics! Nara Bronze is a gorgeous color! Love it!
Thanks! :) It really is a great color, especially now since it is no longer available. Though, I will admit, I still love the white and black LR4s!

Have a great weekend!
