I'm wondering if the 1996 D1 is safe to drive with the p0102 code and CEL on? I know this is a low voltage to MAF code but don't know exactly what that means. Am I doing fast permanent damage to the 02 sensors or fouling anything else up?

Thanks,

It means you will loose quite a bit of mileage and power, the engine will run rich, your exhaust will smell and you cats can take a hell of a beating trying to burn off the excess exhaust.
So to answer your question, yes it can be driven but not far or much cause the more you run it the more likely you'll toast your cats.

ok. got the new plug and the MAF in the post today. they are installed and the truck runs great now.

Thanks again to everyone for your help. I'll get the CE light and the codes cleared tomorrow.
