We're in Santiago (Chile) now and it has been cold for a while and will only get colder, so it will be a nice change to get some warm (hot, really) weather in Panama. Santiago was great and the motorcycle off-road rides in the Andes were a blast. Now we will trade them for some nice caribbean isles and pacific coast beaches...

Are you originally from the states? What brought you to Chile and soon Panama? I have been to Santiago and I loved it! I went hiking all around that area and Argentina. Loved Argentina!!! We actually have a new flight out of SFO nonstop to Santiago via LAN.

I loved Argentina and Chile! I went hiking all over Argentina and really had a great time. So beautiful and Buenos Aires was amazing!

Keep us posted once you go to Panama. I'd love to see pics of the area and your new LR4. My uncle's wife is from Panama as well, and they head there every year for the holidays. Take care!
