A tire patch kit with new valve stems is wise too. Seems like sidewalls get taken out a lot, which a patch won't help much with, at least as a longer term fix. But if you shear off a valve stem or get a gash, having a kit is nice. Also good to practice getting a bead back on a rim. It's a pain in the ass. (i have only had to do that once, and now I don't air down past 20 unless I can really help it)
mbw - All of my offroading exists in the rockies throughout Colorado. What tire pressure do you recommend running if you do not go below 20psi? Thanks!
