Hi forum,

I have a 2015 LR4 with 53K miles with up to date maintenance and recently had a CEL with the P0327 knock sensor code. Truck ran fine with no apparent knock and checked the sensor lines so cleared the code. It ran fine with no CEL for 5 days and now it’s back again. Anyone run into this code before? Any tips on resolving? Thanks!

what fuel do you use?

low grade or bad fuel is the first thing id check.
fill up with good (premium) fuel or put a fuel additive in.

Since it ran fine for a few days with no code, id assume to rule out the sensor as being bad. the code would have come back immediately if that was the case.

Thanks, Daytona. I always use premium and use Shell vpower pretty exclusively. Recently added Lucas fuel treatment and the CEL turned on 50 miles after so don’t know if that could be related. Any other insights?

Just spitballin' here.

Intermittently failing sensor

Bad injector causing lean condition

Dirty throttle body causing lean condition.
