I just purchased a certified (to 75k miles) 2005 LR3 w/ 33k miles out of Mission Viejo LR. Its Silver on Black with Nav and Cold Weather Package Paid $32,500. It seemed like the best deal I could find with all the options I needed. I hope to have this truck for a long time, I love almost everything about it. Decent deal???

I am also wondering why I cant find more pics of modified LR3s on the internet. Am I not looking in the right places? I was thinking about doing the headliner in a black suede and having all the plastic pieces painted gloss black because the light grey looks cheap. Also thinking about painting the factory rims flat black. It would be a lot easier to make a decision on these changes if I could see pics of other modified LR's.

Anyways, I look forward to hanging out on this sight and reading what all of you have to say and also sharing my experience with all of you. As you can see by my pic I dont plan on babying this thing like everyone else in LA.

Thanks, Tom

Hmmm...your photo link didn't work and pasting the URL independantly didn't work for me either. I can't, or rather won't help you bling out your truck to make it less functional, but I can point you in the right direction for more functional mod's.

California Chrome does the wheels. Tropical Autobody in Orange specializes in painting Land Rovers, and they do a fantastic job and their pricing is pretty good.

I have a few thousand images of my LR3 being put to use, with a number of modifications on it. My website is here: www.nextstepdesigns.com, or go straight to my photo site at: http://nwoods.smugmug.com/Land Rover/198186

Welcome to the neighborhood, and check out www.sclr.org.

Cheers!

Can't wait to get back into the family since turning in my lease. I have a line on an '05 with 27k miles for 25g. Nav and CC and lighting package---no heavy duty or extended warranty (sigh)

Welcome to the club, you're gonna love this truck!
