About to switch my tag lighting and interior lighting over to L.E.D. Just a cheap "touch up" I could do for fun. Of course all of my lighting will be a natural white, not a silly spectrum of the rainbow. Has anyone else done any lighting changes? I've done my research and found that the T10/194 bulbs are to be used in the LR3. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I seem to recall LED lighting on campers/trailers causing problems with the LR3. Can't recall why.

I would not recommend that you change any of the bulbs to LED. The electrical systems in the LR3 are very sophisticated and small alterations anger it quickly. It's quite common to see all kinds of strange faults and behavior when replacing tag lights, brake lights, and other things with bulbs that are rated identically, but are not OEM genuine parts.

If you're really serious about the change, just keep it in mind in case it starts misbehaving.

The guys across the pond are pretty hip to the LED light upgrades. Do a search on the disco3.co.uk forum.

Yeah, I belong to that forum as well. Search and see how many times a Halford's bulb has caused an issue...

Very cool option for the side lights. I've decided only to swap out the side lights and rear tag lights as I don't want to create a huge mess with the electrical system. I've found a set of bulbs that are the same exact wattage/voltage as the OEM's.
