Good thoughts here.. I live in a rural area. Drive to dealership is about 150 miles.. so I will probably run it for a while with fuel cleaner and eventually try to get to the dealership if it doesn’t clear. Battery I believe is in good shape, but that was another good thought, and I will watch that..

Grounding strap issues? I feel like someone that had the transfer case fault found theirs to be a bad ground

If I recall correctly, there are two electrical plugs that are similar and could get mixed up when doing the rear cross-over.

Does your transfer case switch from Hi to Lo and back?

Update: After driving the vehicle around 60ish miles, the Check engine light just went out. The car was running great the whole time, but the light was on... very disturbing. However i believe that if a fault is not seen after a certain number of miles the light goes out... I don't know the specifics, but that is something i heard somewhere. Either that, or the BG44K fuel system cleaner (amazing cleaner!!!) kicked in and cleaned my fuel injectors, or something.. Either way, I'm keeping my fingers crossed and saying my disco prayers!
