Cable is included in what package? I have the HSE package and no cable was included. The port is there inside the armrest, but not the cable. It is my understanding that this is a extra cost accessory.

The cable should be included with your package.

If this is true, which I am not yet convinced that it is, how do you suggest I approach my dealer. Would they have taken it out of the car on purpose to deceitfully try to sell it back to me? Would they flat out lie about it as I did ask?

I can't find any information in writing anywhere that shows that it should or should not come with the vehicle.

Not included in 2011? Might be so. I see they no longer call it iPod connectivity on the website. It now just says "Portable Audi Interface" and is included in the base model. I'd call 1-800-637-6837 and complain to Land Rover directly.

I hate how manufacturers are "de-contenting" vehicles.

The iPod cable was included in 2010 LR4, but it is not included with the 2011.

WOW! I just found this in the online owner's manual and it looks like it was from a 2010 version. All of us 2010 owners that had the cable included were lucky, I guess.

"A dedicated iPod™ lead is available as an
option from your land Rover dealer. Plug in
your iPod™ with the usual care necessary to
protect the connector pins from damage."

I didn't get one! Bummer. I'll mention it the next time I'm in for service... don't know when that'll be. But maybe I'll just pay for one. I wonder how much they cost.

It was included in 2010 but not in any 2011 along with the auto highbeam...etc. That said, you guys in 2011 HSE and above get LED signature lights where the 2010 HSE did not, which is why I bought the LUX package.

As stated, the cable is not included with the 2011 models. Sadly, I think it's about $100 if you get one from the stealer. Luckily, my sales guy through it in for me at delivery
