Thanks. I don't notice the wind noise. I did drive the truck a week or two without it. I'm sure there is a difference but nothing stuck out as obtrusive. Doesn't sound noticeably different then the LR3 I drove for 12 years with factory rack. Exception being one of the bars is right over the sun roof so when the roof is open it directs wind right at your head.Great post and good looking rig. How's the wind noise with the rack up there? I expect noise when stuff is strapped down but wonder if barebones rack is noisy.
Excellent pics, man.
These pix will fit in nicely in a LR brochure, specially the last birds eye view one.
Makes me wanna go places
There. That line above should have been the end tag line/slogan for LR4 TV ads, if they ever thought about dropping even a single penny on air time for that truck, that is. I rarely saw any tv ads for LR4. Instead, its always been about the Sport or the FFRR for LRNA.
"Introducing the all new and completely re-designed Land Rover LR5 with the world' most advance and unique body structure, the patented LR Integrated-Body Frame. The only body structure in the world that offers tank like strength and safety as well as car like comfort and handling...
The 2018 LR5, It will make you wanna go places you have never seen/been/dared before. And yeah, you could make those runs to the practice field too."
Needs a bit polishing, I know![]()
