Added a D ring...

And, I noticed that my driver's side exhaust tip hangs lower than the passengers? I checked to see if anything was broken, but I didn't see anything?

Thanks!

Ditch the shackle and receiver set up for recovery work. Personally, I'd only attach to you via the intended connection point behind the panel. Recheck your exhaust hanger points as these are very difficult to physically damage. If they're OK, don't worry about it.

I would off road, but I don't know where to keep it in the Rover....
I plan on getting on the creeper tomorrow and checking it out.

My '05 has the exact same exhaust droop. If you look under the rig you can see that the tailpipe is held by a rubber loop to support it. My loop is stretched further on the left side so it droops.

I guess I'll try taking it to the dealer and having them replace it. I wonder if there is an adjustment to tighten it?

Using a zip tie would do the trick. Been meaning to do that just been focused on all the other problems I have with the truck.

I'm under warranty still, so I'll have them fix it. (probably will use a zip tie)...

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with yours. Love mine.

I like mine too, but it has been a total lemon from day one. It was one of the first produced (very early VIN) and I have suffered through every conceiveable teething issue. I will never buy a first model year vehicle again. I think I'll aim for a late 2011 LR4. Rant over.

x2 on that. Very unsafe the way you have it.

Where to keep the hitch? I toss mine with the ball and all in an old laptop bag and keep it on the floor behind the 3rd row seat or under the bottom of the folded bottom cushion if I have the floor flat. Bag puts a nice handle on it and keeps it from flopping around. I also have some room left for the locking pin and a couple of tie downs, an adjustable wrench and extra size ball.
